During last month's U.S.-China Hong Kong Forum, I got the opportunity to speak with one of China's rising star professors: Wang Dong from Peking University's School of International Studies. Wang Dong's research revolves around China's evolving role in the global world order, as well as its role in shaping and participating in a process he calls "re-globalization." So, what is that exactly? And how does the Executive Director of the Institute for Global Cooperation and Understanding (iGCU) at Peking University view the U.S. and China relationship?

During last month's U.S.-China Hong Kong Forum, I got to speak with Bibek Raj Kandel, a New World AsiaGlobal Fellow from Nepal with over 15 years of experience working across Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa in climate policy and infrastructure. The U.S.-China relationship is often misunderstood as a dynamic playing out only among two nations. Occasionally, Europe is also included. But it affects the entire world and other nations are learning to navigate its complexities as they seek to sustainably develop.
