Surgeons in China have achieved a medical ‘first’, successfully performing three simultaneous operations using the precision of robots and the speed of 5G networks. The operations were conducted by a team of physicians in Beijing, but with patients located across the country – up to several thousand kilometers away. Powered by high-speed 5G networks, the achievement opens a gateway to providing quality healthcare to patients in remote areas or disaster zones around the world.
