Elvis Cao works at Cornell University’s Erickson Lab, converting CO2 to sustainable fuel. He reasons that one of the biggest issues with the conversation around sustainability is that there is little mention of the economic benefits. The project he works on, called HI-Light, aims to change the narrative surrounding large scale sustainability operations and to redefine CO2 as a resource, not a liability.
