Golden Week, one of the biggest holidays in China, saw over 600 million people travel this year, a sign that China has achieved some sense of a "new normal". Tourist landmarks, hotels, and restaurants were bustling with travelers, bringing China a boon of US$70 billion in consumer spending in just a few days.
