Doutzen Kroes is not only one of the world's most famous supermodels, she's also a passionate conservationist and a global ambassador for Knot On My Planet, an organization dedicated to saving the elephants. The China Current caught up with her at the One Young World 2019 Summit to talk about what inspired her to become an advocate for elephant conservation and how poaching has massive negative effects on the ecosystem, and the human race. She also describes how countries like China, which banned imports of ivory in 2017, can continue helping in the global fight for elephant conservation. Here is her story.
