The world is fighting a global war on waste that threatens to overrun our planet, and China is on the frontlines of the unprecedented battle. The country has recently committed to make recycling an everyday practice for the Chinese people, and has selected Shanghai to test drive an innovative new method of getting its 23 million citizens to recycle smarter and better. If all goes well, Shanghai may provide a template for a way to make China, and the world, a greener, healthier place.
